Her cats are: Quincy, Boo, Cruiser, Jack, Jase, Frankie (who has his own Instagram!), Alie, and Lani. She also loves making lasting connections with our clients.Īt home, Courtney has 8 cats (Yes, EIGHT, it’s a job hazard working somewhere where stray animals sometimes get brought in!) ranging in age from 11 months to 19 years old. Starting her animal care industry career so young with our team, Courtney has really grown up at Stone Ridge her teammates are like her family! She enjoys having the opportunity to improve the health and wellness of our client’s furry family members.
She is also a member of NYSAVT (NYS Association of Veterinary Technicians). She is currently our Licensed Veterinary Technician Supervisor but joined our team back in August 2001 as a kennel attendant! Courtney earned her associate’s degree in Science Degree-Veterinary Technology from Medaille College-Buffalo in 2007 and is a New York State Licensed LVT. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, scrapbooking, and hiking.Ĭourtney was born and raised in Rochester, NY. Annunziata lives with her husband, daughter, and miniature poodle, Willy, who she rescued after he needed major surgery. She is also interested in dermatology and dentistry.ĭr. Annunziata has a special interest in One Health, the idea that the health of humans, animals, and the environment are inextricably linked. The fulfillment she derived from helping people and their pets by volunteering at Cornell’s local healthy pet clinic for low-income families is what inspired her to pursue a career in companion animal medicine. Annunziata completed externships at Animal Medical Center, Veterinary Emergency and Referral Group in Brooklyn, Blue Pearl, and Oradell Animal Hospital. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Cornell University. Annunziata earned her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Animal Physiology from Cornell University. Samantha Annunziata is an Associate Veterinarian at Stone Ridge Veterinary Hospital and is Fear Free Certified.
